Feeling a little disgusted at herself for having a spaz earlier in the day,
Catherine (Stone) surprises Nick (Douglas) with a potted plant back at
his apartment. He acts nonchalant, but when she starts getting frisky and openly
offering herself to him, he can't resist and easily forgives her. But something she
says will haunt him. She's almost finished her book and this may be the last time
he'll see her. What does she mean by this? In her book, the detective dies. Does
this mean he'll die too?
