In his version of the events, Michael(O'Connell) describes the night being driven by
Sara's (Reid) drunken appetite for fun and mischief. Once the rain starts, they head to
Sara's place where she quickly leads Michael on by pulling him in despite his insistance
that he is too tired to continue. The night ends on a bad note because Michael ends up
calling her Whitney (Procter). According to his tale, her whole intent was to get back
at her boyfriend who had recently dumped her and that no such rape occurred, but the officers
aren't buying his story, despite his honest interpretation of the events.
