Plagued by the horrible visions, Mary(Theron) tries to seek solace from the nightmares at the church.
Kevin(Reeves) finds her there in hysteria, not understanding her symptoms since he isn't affected
by the moral shift. She unclothes herself, revealing the self-inflicted marks brought on by
the madness she now coexists with in her psyche. Proving once again that the under-appreciated
Theron should be recognized for her courageous portrayals, she shows no inhibitions displaying her
naked form while more than convincingly presenting a disillusioned and terribly disturbed character.
Mary Colquhoun and Nancy Klopper(the casting directors) definitely chose the right people.
