With his novel finished and praise in hand from his two
supporters, Henry(Ward) feels comfortable with his failure as a
traditional writer and success as a controversial one. Anais(de Medeiros)
wants his work to be acknowledge and makes it known to him as they
passionately kiss outside in the garden, hidden from Hugo's(Grant)
eyes, but not the sound of the guitar music. The theme of love-to-music
is present again and striking considering the movie is about the
writing of a novel.
