After making love and falling asleep in each other's arms, Zed(Stoltz)
and Zoe(Delpy) are awaken by the sound of someone knocking on the hotel
door. It's Eric(Anglade), Zed's cohort and friend, who immediately grabs
Zoe and pushes her out of the room, calling her just another filthy
whore. Zed makes an almost nonchalant protest despite the fact he
was a bit smitten by the attractive French girl. Zoe liked Zed a
lot, but chances for any type of relationship after this instant has
surely been vanquished.
