Still determined to drink himself to death, Ben(Cage) is sitting by the pool with a bottle in his
hand and his mind afloat. Sera(Shue) walks over, straddles him and removes the top portion of her
swimsuit, pouring the alcohol over her breasts and having Ben suck them dry. There is an air of
uncomfortable sexuality. A viewer knows both are drunk, and despite Shue's curvacousness and
nude form, one can feel the sad, disparing air that still permeates their personalities even
as they make love. They are two people yearning for happiness, but settles for
cheap satisfaction for now.
