With the cops still silently tailing him, Pete(Getty) picks up his
girlfriend Sheila(Wagner) and they make out in the car. However,
they don't go much farther distance-wise as she removes her
top and the ensuing sex scene develops between the two. Getty's
character is given back a sense of normality as his regular
routines set in, plateauing the audience's mood before Lynch
pulls out more surprises and mysteries.
