Standing in front of a mirror, Marion (Connelly) stares
at the reflection looking back at her. Little movement is
made and sounds uttered. Slowly, she lifts up her arms
and goes into a state of bliss as the scene fades to white.
The audience is left the impression that she is on a drug-induced
high, and whatever she sees in the mirror, we can't see, but
can only assume. Although the white of the light alludes to
tranquility, it is nevertheless a fading and fleeting moment, just
like her high.
