Shortly after discovering his leading man is a woman, Shakespeare(Fiennes) falls head over heels for
the boyish beauty of Viola(Paltrow) and consummate their new found love for each other by what else...
having sex. Here, he lovingly removes the clothe bandages that covered her feminine qualities in
an act that symbolizes a rebirth of sorts, or literally unravelling the mystery of her identity. As
they do the forbidden deed (they're at her house), Viola's assistant waits uncomfortably outside
in case of trouble (such as her parents suddenly walking by). Quite a light-hearted and enjoyable
scene, and Gwyneth makes it ever better.
