Although the star of the film is actress Patricia Arquette, a
body double(Reed) was used for close up shots of semi-nudity including
this one of Arquette's character before she undergoes the first of the stigmatas.
As the camera pans up Frankie's (Arquette) body, doubled by Ms. Reed, a brief
glimpse of pubic hair is seen in the reflection underneath the surface of
the water.
