As Nagiko(Wu) contemplates a historical garden she could've walked around for
hours in, another calligraphy fetish aficianado paints her chest with red paint.
They talk about the hypocrisy of him teaching clean living, and she makes no
excuses her for inability as well. Smug and vain, she enjoys her lifestyle and
wants people to know it. They make note that the paint is "blood red", but
may mislead some since in Asian cultures, red is a colour not associated with
death, yet it is for the painter in this scene.
