Future timecop Max Walker(Van Damme) is having a great day. He got
offered a job with the upcoming time travel enforcement agency and
both him and his wife Melissa(Sara) have the afternoon off. Meeting her at the mall,
whispering some dirty words in her ear, and then stopping a purse snatcher
all within the span of a few minutes. She suggests they practice some
of those dirty words so they go home for an afternoon romp. The love scene actually
adds a bit to the tension of the film since it immediately precedes and contrasts
the first climatic, and plot-developing sequence of events.
