After what seemed like a false alarm, Michael(Russell) and Karen(Stowe)
get into a brief argument over the gun he bought. But he quickly settles
her fears and the two continued their love-making. Unfortunately, the
alarm did notify the police and Officer Pete(Liotta) shows up and disrupts
them. Although Pete insisted he was merely responding to the alarm, Michael
has his own suspicions and thinks otherwise. Considering Pete lingered a
little bit too long at the doorway, Michael's distrust seems justified.
