summary:
When Peter Cort’s (Paul Bettany) tennis career is winding down, declining from 11th in the world to 119th, he meets rising star, Lizzie Bradbury (Kirsten Dunst). Things start out as a passing fling, but soon heat up which brings new life to his game. Lizzie’s controlling father (Sam Neill) is furious and has other ideas as her game looses its edge when she is in love.
